When you perform a search in ScienceDirect, the database returns a list of results that match your search terms. Choose date if you want to list your results by Date instead.
1. The search for badgers AND tuberculosis returned 1505 results.
2. Results are listed in order of relevance by default. Click date to list them in date order instead.
3. By ticking the Subscribed journals box under Refine by you will see only results you can access in full text.
4. A green circle indicates the full text of the document is available for download/viewing online.
5. The document type is displayed above the result title.
6. Use the Years filter to limit your results by year or years. Click the Show more arrow to see a full list of years available.
7. You can choose to limit your results list by article type.
Review article: Substantial overview of original research, usually with a comprehensive reference list.
Research article: Complete report on original research
8. You can also limit your results to a specific journal.
9. Use the Subject areas filter to limit your results to a specific subject area or areas.
10. Click on a result title link to view more information about the document/read it online.
11. Click on the Abstract link to see a summary of the article and quickly find out if it is useful to you.
12. Click on the PDF icon to download or print a copy of the article.
13. Click on Keywords when viewing a document online to find author supplied keywords to use in future searches.
