Guide to using SAGE Journals

Your Results List

When you perform a search in Sage Journals, the database returns a list of results that match your search terms. 

1. The search for badgers AND tuberculosis returned 1041 results.

2. Results are listed in order of relevance. Click the down arrow to see other options for sorting your results.

3. You can choose to limit your results to articles you can access in full-text.

4. Use the options on the left of the page to filter your results, for example by article type, date and subject.

5. Click Preview/Abstract to see a summary of the article and quickly find out if it is useful to you.

6. Click PDF/EPUB to read a copy of the article online and/or download the article.

7. Click on an article's title link to go to the home page for that article.

8. Clicking on Edit Search opens a form to refine your search using more complex search queries.

9. Click on an author's name link to find other articles by that author.

10. Use the navigation toolbar to read the article online, download a PDF copy of the article, view metrics and citations and figures and tables (if available)

11. View the list of references used by the article.

12. Browse the Related Content box to find similar or related articles.
