Learning and Working Remotely


Most of the time accessing the library's online resources will be easy!  However, if you find you are having problems accessing a resource online here are some things you can try:

  • make sure you are trying to access the resource using links provided by the library, for example from the A-Z of Online Resources page or from a Multisearch search results page.

  • check you are using your IT Tralee username (T-Number) and password to log in. Your password is the same password you use to log in to your email and Blackboard accounts.  If you open your computer or device and find yourself automatically signed in, try logging out and signing in again (there may be an issue with cookies).

  • clear your browser cache and cookies - you can find instructions in our on how to do this in our Guide to clearing your cache and cookies.

  • try another browser


If you are still having access issues, please email with the following information and a member of the library team will respond to you as soon as possible:

  • The name of the e-resource you are having  trouble accessing from (home)
  • Where are you accessing from (home/work/Ireland/Other etc)
  • Which browser are you using (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer etc)
  • Please include screenshots of issues where possible
