Guide to using Emerald Insight

Search for an article by it's DOI

A Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is an alphanumeric string that permanently identifies a digital object. DOI links are permanent links you can use to cite and access electronic articles.  When you see a DOI link, you can usually click it to access the article if the library has a subscription or if it's open access.  If you see a DOI in print or it's not clickable online you can search Emerald Insight for the article.

  • Here is an example of a DOI: doi:10.1108/JEA-08-2024-0287
  • Here is an example of a DOI link:  https://doi.org/10.1108/JEA-08-2024-0287
