A permalink (also called persistent link) is a permanent link to an online resource, such as a journal article. In contrast to the URL in a browser address bar which will change and become unstable over time, a permalink is a static hyperlink. This makes permalinks the safest way to make sure you can always get back to a specific resource. Permalinks are also the most reliable way to share access to an online resource with the wider MTU community, for example by embedding the link in Canvas.
Note that when you click on a permalink you will be required to sign in using your MTU username and password.
