Guide to using IEEE Xplore
Finding IEEE Standards
1. Choose Standards from the drop-down menu to the left of the IEEE Xplore basic search box.
2. Enter the standard number or your keywords
3. Click the search icon
4. A green open padlock icon indicates you have access to the full text of the document.
5. Select Subscribed content to limit your results list to documents with full text access.
6. Click on a document title link to read the document online.
7. Click on the PDF icon to download a pdf copy of the document.
1. Choose Standards from the Browse drop-down menu
2. IEEE Xplore defaults to displaying a list of all standards by Collection. You can browse the standards by Collection, Number, Topic and ICS Code.
1. The standard status is displayed below the title information
2. Click on Versions to see a list of active, draft, withdrawn, and archived versions of the standard.
